Friendship II , was launched in 1936. The builder: "Doc" Freeman of Fremont Boat Market rented space at Vic Franks to build it. The hull is an Ed Monk Senior design. The cabin was designed and built by Bill Herman (Doc's brother-in-law), the original owner. According to the Freemans, Doc Freeman built around 6 boats before the union shut him down for not using union labor. They gave me the old pictures and info. I also spoke with the original owner's son. Current owners are: Jennie Dahlby and Paul Casadevall.
